Despite some hiccups, I appreciated the friendly staff, spacious rooms, and beautiful grounds at Kellogg Conference Hotel Capitol Hill. While there were minor inconveniences, the location near Union Market made up for it. I particularly enjoyed the safety of the guarded entrance.

The bed was very comfy and I could rest very well, with no noise outside. The area of the campus was beautiful to walk around. The breakfast was delicious, and you could grab to-go items. Friendly front desk personnel. The hotel's security and location made me feel safe. The leisure room provided relaxation, while nearby landmarks like the United States Botanic Garden and Gallaudet University offered unique family bonding experiences.

The university campus setting was incredibly peaceful, making it easy for us to unwind and take a breather from our busy day. We loved strolling through the serene grounds and even found a charming spot, The Hangout on 2, where we could relax and enjoy the lovely surroundings.

My wife says that the hotel could benefit from adding more kid-friendly amenities such as a children's play area or a kids' club.

The first night, at 2:30 AM, we were awoken by a group of people talking very loudly outside of our room, which continued until early morning.

The high cost of parking

Being on a college campus is so interesting! It’s great to be surrounded by the youthful energy of students. Plus, there are a few nice spots to check out nearby. Although the shuttle service on weekends could use improvement, it’s still a nice feature to have. The complimentary breakfast is really tasty, and the staff at this hotel really put an effort to help guests. The towels are soft and fluffy, and the comfortable beds are accompanied by a serene view that makes this a peaceful place to stay.

As for me, the area was very bad.

hotel is located inside a university campus, we went there during the holidays so it was very quiet. It is very close (12-15 mins) to Union Station and National Mall. price is convenient for the area.

We had two reservations, they charged us on two credit cards eight times! Every day we had to go and talk at the reception desk because we were being charged again. In the end they returned the money (in dollars) but the currency of my country (Colombian peso) had changed between the day I was charged and day I was charged and I ended up losing money. In general, they say they offer breakfast and it is only one bagel and orange juice in a bottle. They even charge you for coffee at breakfast. staff wasn't very diligent. One person in particular always responded reluctantly (as if we were to blame for being charged 8 times).

This saved us on transportation costs and allowed us to fully experience the city.

When we arrived, we were informed that our reservation couldn't be found and they were unwilling to offer any solutions or compensation for the mistake. We were left scrambling to find alternate accommodations and were frustrated by the lack of assistance from the staff.
